Francisco "Paco" Barragan

Francisco "Paco" Barragan is the most loyal and experienced team member in the Nautical Details crew. For over 12 years he has supported and led our team on many jobs. Some customers even make special requests for his services. Originally from Mexico, Paco is a family man, married with 2 daughters, which he quotes as “the motor of his life”. With his family as motivation, Paco’s skillset includes a very good eye for detail and an excellent work ethic. It is impressive to see how much he gets done in a week at the height of our season without compromising quality in every single job. Besides working on Nautical Details, Paco has experience painting, landscaping, and erecting scaffolds. He is also a certified specialist in Auto Detailing, Osha Training, but his true passion is working on boats.

Over the last 12 years, Paco he has certainly gained all the necessary experience to perform and lead our team in various tasks. These include projects such as gelcoat restoration, cleaning and maintenance of teak decks, bilges, engine rooms, heads, flybridges, and pretty much everything and anything that has to do with detailing a boat. One of the biggest jobs he’s worked on was removing the oxidation out of a 2013 Monte Carlo 76' with a flybridge. To complete this job, he used a 3 step process (compounding, polishing and sealing the gelcoat with polymer sealants) to a perfect finish. Paco states that he is happy working for a company that is always upgrading the tools and materials they use with smarter, eco friendlier methods, allowing their crew to have the best performance and reducing the impact on the environment.

As one of the leaders of this team, Paco really enjoys when he gets to see the reaction of a satisfied owner. His goal is for them to be surprised on the quality and detail after the boat has been serviced by one of our teams. He understands that communication is key in this business, especially when it comes to customer satisfaction. That's why Paco is thorough giving and receiving instructions before and throughout a job. He is accurate, sincere, and just the kind of guy that doesn't let you down.

His favorite thing in this business is to get a boat that’s dirty from lots of use, and admiring the finished project. In his own words, “The sensation of a great job done is very fulfilling and satisfying”.
