Robert Woolcock

 

Robert has three years of experience in the marina industry. After working with Boat Finish, he decided to join our team this season proving his talent and quality in the refinishing aspect of our company. Together with Kousonh, Robert has participated in key jobs this year like Puffin, a 49' Sailboat Built in 1969 Olson Stephens Design where our crew performed a major refinishing project this summer.

Before entering the marina industry, Robert had some experience in other careers like retail and operating a machine that creates bonds for Primer Resources, but he had always been passionate about the sea and the outdoors. So when he got the opportunity of working on boats he didn't think twice and is very proud of have followed this path.

Robert considers Nautical Details as a great company to work for. In his own words, "Usually when someone offers you a job with so many benefits, and positive points to keep you motivated, they are not as thorough and accomplished, but in Nautical Details they do really care about you and your family. They treat you like one of their own. Being a father of 2 daughters, it is very satisfying to know that they are going to keep you busy the whole season as long as you do a good job”. 

Robert says the following on how he wants our customers to feel. "I want the owners to feel overwhelmed when they step on their boats, like they were lost because their old boat is gone and they are coming into a new boat". 

He takes pride on his job, prepping, cleaning teak decks, varnishing or even detailing boats while always giving 100%. It brings him much joy whenever a customer compliments the improvements on boats serviced by him.

Robert's determination, endurance, punctuality, and consistency make it easy to consider him a valuable part of our team. We offer his services to all our customers with all our confidence and look forward to all future business endeavors alongside him.
